A full house remodel that modernized the look and feel of the home and created a more functional living space. We brought in warm wood tones and soft, contemporary lighting to all the spaces. New floors were installed throughout the entire home. Dated curved drywall was squared off for a more contemporary look. New black windows were installed in the main spaces and large sliders were added to the great room. The kitchen and bar were reconfigured for better flow. In the kitchen, an awkward peninsula was removed and integrated appliances and pantry were installed. A new ten-foot kitchen island with a built-in nook table creates a cozy breakfast space. The bar was opened up on one end to allow easy access and a pass-through window to the patio was added to make outdoor entertaining easier. The formal dining room was relocated to the great room and the former dining space was converted to a semi-private home gym that can be easily converted back to a dining room or home office if they sell the home. The new dining space has a new buffet area built in with dual under-counter wine refrigerators. The great room fireplace tower was added with a book-matched porcelain slab surround. The primary bedroom fireplace was reconfigured and is much more dramatic with a full height slat wall accent. The primary bathroom shower and tub area was opened up by removing a dividing wall to make it feel spacious and bright. All of the secondary bathrooms were also refreshed.
